LEVEL 06 · LESSON 04
Vessel count × fill volume
See it
Base media volume can be estimated as vessel count multiplied by working fill. For example, 24 vessels at 35 mL require 840 mL before any preparation overage.
Understand it
Base volume = count × working fill.
Keep the arithmetic inspectable.
Round only according to a defined rule, not by intuition.
Important boundary
Do not add overage before you know the true base volume.
Try it
Explain the concept in your own words, then identify what plant, explant, stage, units, source, or observation context would need to be preserved before applying it.
