MyTCLab

Accessibility

MyTCLab accessibility goals, available alternatives and how to report a barrier.

Effective October 17, 2026. MyBasic LLC wants MyTCLab's website, Academy and workspace to be usable by people with different abilities, devices and assistive technologies.

What we are working toward

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a design and testing goal. We have not completed an independent, whole-product conformance audit and do not claim that every page or interaction already meets every criterion.

Available features

The site uses responsive layouts, labeled form controls, keyboard-operable links/buttons, visible focus styles, text alternatives for content images and reduced-motion behavior for animated features. The optional purchase-button pulse is disabled when your device requests reduced motion. Music never starts automatically on MyTCLab.

The 3D shelf view has a two-dimensional Rack View alternative. Public educational text and references remain available without using the interactive timeline or 3D controls. Browser zoom, text resizing and Guided/Compact views can help adapt the workspace.

Known limits and continued improvement

Complex tables, charts, 3D scenes, generated user reports and third-party authentication/payment screens may have usability limitations. Some translated scientific material remains marked for independent review. User-uploaded photographs and text may not include sufficient descriptions. We continue to review contrast, focus order, touch targets, form feedback and assistive-technology behavior; availability of a feature is not proof of full accessibility.

Report an accessibility barrier

Open the private accessibility feedback form. Tell us which page or task was affected, what happened and the format or assistance that would help. A reply email is optional. Browser/screen details are sent only if you choose the diagnostics checkbox. Do not send passwords, sensitive lab data or unnecessary medical information.

We will review requests and consider practical fixes or an alternative way to access the information. We cannot promise a particular resolution date for every issue. You can also find our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service here.
